Event Coordinator

Darmont GivesBack is a not-for-profit organization based in Brant, Ontario, dedicated to improving the well‑being of individuals and communities through education, health, equal opportunities, and community giving. We are hiring two Event Coordinators through the Canada Summer Jobs program to support our growing portfolio of community events and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating events such as community gatherings, workshops, festivals, and cultural celebrations.
• Work with the Programs Director to develop event schedules, timelines, and detailed operational plans.
• Act as a primary point of contact for vendors, sponsors, and stakeholders before, during, and after events.
• Assist in negotiating contracts with vendors and service providers and manage supplier relationships.
