ESTIMATOR

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Vice President of Construction and as directed by the CWC Executive Management Team.
• Works closely with estimators, superintendents, project managers, equipment manager, and other team members to prepare estimates and proposals.
• Reviews tender documents, specifications, drawings, and attends pre‑bid meetings to determine scope of work and effort for estimating.
• Provides productivity analyses for various scopes of work for estimate preparation.
• Organizes estimating teams to prepare bids, select vendors and/or subcontractors, and determine cost‑effectiveness of projects to be bid.
• Consults with clients, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates.
• Leads pre‑qualification and proposal‑based tendering opportunities.
• Leads pre‑construction handover meetings to review project scope with the delivery team.
