Overview

Ledcor is a leading construction services provider in Ontario with a 30‑year history. The Estimator will support multi‑disciplinary commercial or industrial projects in Ottawa.

Essential Responsibilities

• Implement Ledcor estimating systems and procedures.
• Assist in soliciting trades for bid invitations, pricing, addenda, and bid closings.
• Perform quantity take‑offs for all estimate areas, ensuring proper notation and inclusion of safety and security requirements.
• Analyze plans, specifications, and proposals to prepare bid estimates, including full estimates where required.
• Conduct site visits, quantity take‑off, pricing, and present estimates for management review.
• Develop project schedules based on estimates, coordinating with project team and trades.
• Support presentation of estimate proposals.
• Prepare conceptual estimates using historical data.
