Estimator

Role Description

The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for projects by analyzing drawings, specifications, and other documentation. This role ensures that all materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs are thoroughly evaluated to support bidding, budgeting, and project planning.

Responsibilities

• Measure and take off plans to provide accurate project BOQs
• Prepare project scopes and run subcontractor and supplier tenders
• Prepare project tenders
• Identify opportunities to improve estimating processes and drive efficiencies
• Control and maintain the company's estimating software Cubit (BuildSoft)
• Maintain record keeping and filing in relation to all the above.
