About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Draft estate planning documents, including wills, powers of attorney, trusts, and related agreements.
  • Prepare and revise probate and estate administration documents, including applications for certificates of appointment, court filings, and supporting materials.
  • Draft trust documents, amendments, and related estate planning instruments.
  • Prepare correspondence and memoranda related to estate planning and administration matters.
  • Review and update estate documentation to ensure compliance with applicable legislation and best practices.
  • Work closely with lawyers to support complex estate planning and trust structures.
  • Maintain organized drafting files and version control for estate documents.
  • Assist with special drafting projects as required.

Requirements

  • Law Clerk Diploma or equivalent education.
  • 5+ years of experience as an estates or trusts law clerk. ...
