ESH Specialist

Overview

This position will be physically located in the Philippines in support of LOGCAP.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring compliance of the Environmental, Safety, and Health Plan; applicable Federal, State, and Local requirements (to include DENR and DOLE OSH); establishing ESH evaluation, compliance, and behavioral monitoring. Will write and review technical reports and will interact with middle management.
• Performs a contract-wide Environmental, Safety, and Health evaluation, compliance, and behavioral monitoring that conforms to applicable legal and other requirements.
• Enforces policies on fire protection, public health, emergency responses, Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) handling, environmental safety and health processes, and other field activities.
• Remains current in Environmental, Safety, and Health Program policies, and current industrial standards, as well as local DENR and DOLE OSH regulations.
