ESH Assistant Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conducting monthly inspection to identify hazards (e.g., faulty equipment, unsafe conditions), ensuring proper housekeeping, and enforcing safety & environmental related rules.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with the environmental, safety & health laws, regulations, and company and customer requirement and standards.
• Assist in maintaining EHS related records like inspection sheets, incident reports, monitoring report and ensuring chemical safety data sheet were up-to-date.
• Assist in conducting EHS/EMS training for new workers, chemical safety, emergency preparedness and other related training topics.
• Assist in emergency preparedness drills (fire drill, evacuation drill, chemical spillage drill and etc)
• Assist SHO/ EHS engineer in accidents or near-misses investigation to identify root causes and implementing preventative measures.
