Job Summary

At KONE, we are looking for an Escalator Installation & Modernisation Improver to support experienced engineers across the UK in installing and modernising escalator systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of escalator components, including preparing materials and supporting mechanical and electrical works.
• Help maintain and prepare tools and equipment, ensuring they are properly stored and maintained.
• Support safe working practices, ensuring safety standards are met and communicated to on‑site colleagues, contractors and customers.
• Learn KONE methods and industry best practice, gaining hands‑on experience across a variety of escalator systems.
• Assist in delivering projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard, working in a site‑based, team environment.
• Travel regularly across the UK and attend projects, with occasional visits to Keighley for team meetings.
