About the Role

Amentum, a global leader in advanced engineering, technical, and professional services serving the US government, allies and critical infrastructure sectors, is seeking an Environmental Specialist to support a government contract based on the island of Diego Garcia.
PURPOSE / SCOPE
The Environmental Specialist is responsible for the performance of environmentally focused support services, investigations, and analyses, ensuring successful operation and execution. The Environmental Specialist will perform duties to ensure compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Amentum ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).
Support and performance of environmental management program to support the initiatives and directives of the customer

Ensure compliance with permits, regulatory standards and standard management practices including but not limited to sample collection, monitoring, records keeping, report preparation, training, inspections...
