About the Role
Join Summit as an Environmental Inspector focused on large linear disturbance projects in western Canada. Your expertise will drive environmental monitoring and ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Manager/Project Manager, Environmental Planning and Management. Your responsibilities will include field inspections, drafting reports, and assessing compliance with construction and environmental plans. You will also provide actionable insights to help protect fish habitats and aquatic resources while working within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft and submit daily field reports and diagrams
• Conduct on-site evaluations of active operations
• Attend planning and safety meetings for project conformance
• Evaluate erosion and sediment control techniques
