Environmental Construction Manager (Thunder Bay)

Responsibilities

• Lead management and coordination of daily environmental compliance activities during construction of energy development projects.
• Supervise a team of Environmental Monitors during onsite environmental monitoring and oversight (25‑50% remote field work).
• Ensure compliance with Environmental Management System (EMS), permits, and approvals.
• Provide daily oversight of team activities, review all reporting deliverables, coordinate required surveys, and serve as liaison with construction personnel, regulators, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain and enforce mitigation measures from the EMS, Environmental Assessment, Protection Plan, permit conditions, and best management practices.
• Develop and recommend corrective actions for erosion and sediment control measures.
