About the Role
Position
A Team Leader is responsible for all the work of a team and the spokesperson for everyone in it. They are expected to manage team dynamics, help others become the best version of themselves, and gear the team towards optimized execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a small product team of 3-5 engineers (backend and frontend).
- Spend 30% of the time on management work and actively participate in product development.
- Lead hiring processes for the team and assist peers in hiring.
- Own onboarding for new engineers.
- Act as spokesperson, managing team dynamics and bringing out the best in the team.
- Provide continuous constructive feedback.
- Help the team grow and be responsible for each direct report’s career.
