Engineering Project Technologist

This position works in the Commercial Development organizational unit. This is technical and administrative engineering work performed in the Engineering Department. The work involves administering large development and capital works projects and monitoring construction to ensure compliance with plans and related specifications. Under the general direction of a supervisor, an incumbent of this class, through application of prescribed design criteria and established engineering standards, prepares design layouts, detailed drawings, specifications and related data pertinent to the construction of a variety of municipal utilities; all final drawings are subject to the general review and approval of a supervisor.
