About the Team

The Tax Platform team builds and operates the real‑time tax calculation engine that powers every transaction at DoorDash — from customer orders to subscriptions, merchant fees, ads, etc. As a tier‑0 service calculating tax on every cart and order across all business lines and verticals, the Tax Platform is critical to DoorDash's reliability and compliance with complex, ever‑evolving tax regulations across all jurisdictions. We partner closely with Strategy & Ops, Tax, Finance, Legal, and various Product teams to ensure accurate tax calculation, reporting, and remittance at scale.
