Engineering Manager – Solar PV

Job Summary:

Solar PV & Energy System Design Leadership

• Lead the end-to-end engineering design of C&I rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems, from concept development through IFC drawings.
• Oversee utility-scale solar conceptual design and feasibility studies, including site layout optimization, energy yield estimation, and preliminary system architecture.
• Perform, review, and approve PVSYST simulations, ensuring the accuracy of assumptions, loss factors, and energy yield reports.
• Lead the design and review of microgrid systems, integrating solar PV, BESS, diesel generators, and grid interaction as applicable.
• Oversee the engineering of stand-alone Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), including system sizing, architecture, protection philosophy, and operational strategies.
• Supervise embedded and digital system designs, including control systems, monitoring platforms, SCADA, and communication interfaces.
