What you will be doing
- First and foremost, you will play an important role in transforming the way ocean freight is bought and sold. In addition, your main tasks will be to:
- lead a cross-functional team, building customer facing products and cloud services
- work closely with product, design, data science, and commercial teams
- manage the team members’ career, expectations, performance
- own system architecture and solution design
- research technical and data impediments and help the team to remove roadblocks
- collaborate with other managers in Tech to raise the engineering and management standards across the department
