Engineering Manager

JOB SUMMARY

This position provides mechanical and thermal design leadership for new products in the Direct Expansion Product Line within the Thermal Business Unit. This person will also manage the research, planning, design, development and testing of direct expansion products and systems such as instruments, controls, engines and machines.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Applies engineering skills and experience for all phases of product development
• Participates and/or leads efforts to create specifications and develops designs to meet those specifications to cost and schedule
• Participates hands on in fabrication and development of prototypes
• Effectively interfaces and manages suppliers for timely procurement of parts
• Generates complete 3D assemblies of design and full documentation
• Provides leadership and technical direction to the mechanical engineering organization.
