Engineering Manager

We're partnering with a high-performing global investment platform in the digital assets space that is building out its engineering footprint in Malaysia and looking for a
founding Engineering Manager (Malaysians)
to establish and lead a new Kuala Lumpur-based engineering hub.

This isn't a manage-from-the-side role. It's hands-on, high-impact, and deeply technical.

You'll be building and leading a team responsible for real-time data systems and internal platforms that power investment decision-making at scale.

What You'll Be Driving

• Build and scale a high-calibre local engineering team from the ground up
• Define the technical direction for frontend platforms and live data systems
• Design and implement streaming architectures for high-volume, low-latency financial data
• Develop real-time dashboards and tooling used by trading and investment teams
• Establish strong engineering practices (CI/CD, testing, reliability...
