We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineering CAD Designer within the Mechanical Engineering Systems Integration Group.
Under general direction with limited review, the successful candidate will design metallic and composite mounting structure for avionics and payloads in remotely piloted aircraft while optimizing fit, function, thermal, manufacturing, maintainability, quality, cost and schedule considerations. Design tasks will range from supporting engineers with detail part design to layouts, subassemblies, large assemblies and installation-level modeling and drawing creation using 3D computer aided design (CAD) software.
