Alberta Reliability Standards (ARS) are the requirements followed by the AESO and Alberta market participants to provide for the reliable operation of the Alberta interconnected electric system (AIES). The AESO recommends the adoption of ARS that are based on the reliability standards of the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) and Western Electric Coordinating Council (WECC) as well as other ARS that amend, supplement, or replace these reliability standards.

We are looking for an engineer or analyst to coordinate and guide cross-functional teams to develop ARS for Alberta’s electricity industry. The seniority level will be defined based on the successful candidate's experience and qualifications.
