Engineer - Java

**CTG is seeking to fill an Engineer – Java position for our client.**

**Location:** Phoenix, AZ
**Duration:** 12 months

**Duties:**

+ Design, develop, and support enterprise applications using Java/JEE
+ Build and maintain APIs and reactive services using Vert.X
+ Apply TDD, functional programming, and modern Java frameworks
+ Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
+ Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams

**Skills:**

+ Java / Java JEE
+ Vert.X, RESTful APIs
+ Python
+ Cucumber, automated testing, TDD
+ Dependency Injection, IoC, AOP
+ DevOps tools and methodologies

**Experience:**

+ 3–5+ years Java application development
+ Enterprise and API development experience
+ Agile environment experience

**Education:**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
