Engineer, Application Development and Maintenance

This role will be focused on implementing and supporting applications in the Quality and Regulatory (QRA) functional area within LRCGQ (Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, Government and Quality) GBTS department.
Accountabilities In This Role
Responsibilities
Provide day‑to‑day operational support for the environmental compliance IT solution, ensuring system stability, timely issue resolution, and continuous functionality in a Run-state environment.
Investigate and troubleshoot defects, perform root‑cause analysis, and accurately route issues to the appropriate shared services teams (e.g., Kafka, BigQuery, Apigee, Looker, SSO connectors).
Serve as a primary liaison across IT teams, mediating discussions, clarifying roles, and coordinating resolution efforts for cross-functional technical issues.
Maintain proactive communication with SaaS vendors, monitor announced updates or breaking changes, and identify necessary downstream modifications to internal systems.
