About the Role

Leap29 is excited to share a new opportunity with our client, a global renewable energy company with a strong presence in Europe and North America. Our client specialises in the development, ownership, and operation of large-scale renewable energy projects including wind, solar PV, and battery storage.
They are now looking for an Energy Manager to join their Madrid-based team starting in autumn.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead short-term electricity market forecasting and asset optimisation (day-ahead, intraday)

Drive market entry strategies and perform detailed regulatory assessments across multiple jurisdictions

Provide deep insights into European and international power markets, regulations, and trading mechanisms

Develop and apply advanced modelling and optimisation using Python, R, Matlab, Power BI, and SQL

Manage and develop a high-performing market analysis team
