Job Description

The Emergency Medical Services - EMT/PCP Coordinator is an integral member and leader for front line staff, coordinating operational resources effectively and efficiently, ensuring established policies, procedures, and work standards are followed, as well as ongoing mentoring and coaching of personnel. As a member of the front‑line team, the coordinator is responsible for scene management and support to patients, families and staff. The coordinator reports to the Manager and may also provide occasional support or input on provincial initiatives.

Qualifications

Education

• Primary Care Paramedic certificate or equivalent education acceptable to employer

Licenses

• Valid Class 4 driver’s license

Competencies

• Intermediate computer skills
