Summary
Directs and guides the activities of research and technical implementation functions responsible for designing, developing, modifying and evaluating embedded firmware and software application programs for hardware control and on-device user interfaces for advanced products. Evaluates final results of research and development projects to assure accomplishment of technical objectives. Prepares and presents reports outlining the outcome of technical projects and makes recommendations for actions necessary to achieve desired results. Manages and mentors a team of embedded firmware/software engineers.
