About the Role

Role Responsibilities
Development of embedded edge/IoT Linux OS images (likely based on the Yocto platform), optimization of OS/hardware performance, assessment of possible platforms/partners, and integration of peripherals.
Integration of device level software and scripted OS image components and implementation of application layer requirements in tandem with application team.
Development of, and integration with, automated deployment and image management process, and integration with existing Git and CI/CD toolkit, documentation of core processes and procedures (imaging, maintenance, remote access, remote upgrading) and advise on the development, implementation and operation of robust QA processes.
Improvement and management of IoT system and development of device level data collection tools.
Development of new OS images for legacy systems.
