Job Overview

Position: Student Software Engineer (Co‑op/Intern) – 8 openings. Duration: 4 months+ (May – August 2026). Location: Hybrid working in Ottawa, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities

• Innovate alongside our best engineers on projects where you will apply academic knowledge to solve real‑world problems.
• Assist in refining customer requirements where appropriate.
• Design, develop, and deliver C/C++ software to enhance or complement Nokia’s product family.
• Design, develop and deliver Python software to enhance or complement Nokia’s product family.

Required Qualifications & Key Skills

• Candidate for a Master’s, bachelor’s degree, or diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Design, Electrical Engineering, Communications.
• Proficiency in C/C++ is preferred.
• Experience with Python/Perl/Linux is an asset.
• Knowledge of networking/communications is desirable.
