Elevator Operator

Job Description

The Elevator Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of passenger and material elevators at the project site. The role ensures proper transport of workers, materials, and equipment while strictly complying with safety standards and operational procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate construction lifts, passenger elevators, and material hoists in accordance with TESDA standards and site safety rules
• Conduct pre-operation inspections and basic safety checks before use
• Ensure proper loading and unloading of passengers and materials
• Monitor elevator performance and report malfunctions, defects, or unsafe conditions immediately
• Follow hand signals, radio communication, and coordination with riggers and supervisors
