Job Description
Electrical Technician – Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime.
- Install, test, and commission electrical equipment, motors, panels, and control systems.
- Conduct inspections and routine checks on electrical installations.
- Maintain MCCs, switchgear, transformers, VFDs, and motor control circuits.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Carry out cable laying, termination, and electrical connections.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and electrical standards.
