About the Role

What you’ll be doing

as the Electrical Technical Support Engineer
  • Provide a technical support service to support and advise on the operation and maintenance of electrical systems. Provide input to the risk management process.

  • Timely input and liaison support to high voltage or complex low voltage asset upgrade schemes. Identify and deliver directly managed capital programmes.

  • Carry out electrical system failure investigations or unsafe events and produce reports.

  • Carry out actions as necessary to manage maintenance reports, asset registers, manuals and other technical information.

  • Undertake asset assessment surveys and produce recommendations. Support site inspections and deliver solutions to actions arising.

  • Coach and mentor others in preparation for appointment as an Authorised Person and improve technical competence through a development plan.
