About the Role
Position Summary:
The Senior Electrical Technician at AboitizPower is primarily responsible for performing, overseeing, and leading preventative and corrective electrical maintenance on power plant equipment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Completion of a Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Licensed Electrical Engineer
At least eight (8) years of solid experience in the power industry. Experience in a Thermal Power Plant with at least 150MW capacity is an advantage.
Have expertise in at least 10 of the following skills and technologies:
● Protective Relaying (preferably Siemens and ABB)
● Electrical Design for Industrial
● Motor Servicing and Repair
● Motor Drives (VFD and VSD)
● DC system, UPS, and BESS
● PLC Programming and Repair
● Coal Plant Operation
● Power Generation and Excitation System
● Transformer and Switchgear Servicing and Ma...
