Salary: GBP36,000 – GBP40,000 per annum.

Job Description

The Electrical Service Engineer is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of Hänel automated storage systems, with a strong focus on electrical systems, controls, and fault-finding. This is a field‑based role covering the Basingstoke, Portsmouth and Crawley area , working independently at customer sites to ensure equipment operates safely, reliably, and in compliance with current electrical regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical inspections on Hänel automated storage systems in line with current regulations.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance, annual servicing and electrical repairs on Hänel units.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical and control system faults, including wiring, sensors, motors and PLC‑related issues.
