Electrical Estimator

About the Role

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with estimating experience to support industrial and government tender submissions for an Australian-based engineering business.

This role focuses on tender preparation, estimating, and documentation, working closely with senior engineers who will provide final review and sign-off.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, and technical specifications
• Prepare Excel-based estimates and pricing schedules
• Support take-offs and scope breakdowns
• Assist with tender methodologies and assumptions
• Estimate labour and materials with guidance where required
• Support PLC and SCADA scope estimation (training provided)
• Prepare complete tender submissions for review
• Meet submission deadlines consistently
