Electrical Engineer

Insight Global is looking to bring on a Electrical Engineer for a naval client. The ideal candidate would be responsible for providing senior-level electrical and electronics engineering expertise for submarine systems, with a focus on marine AC power and power distribution. You will approve system designs, support integration of sensors, sonar, navigation, communications, and command-and-control systems, and lead troubleshooting of complex technical issues. You will provide technical oversight and mentorship to other engineers, ensure compliance with naval and safety standards, and support commissioning and testing activities for new or upgraded submarines, including dockside and sea trials as required. The candidate is required to work onsite in Victoria, BC 5x a week.
