About the Role

Description
 :Parsons is seeking an Electrical Engineer in training to join the civil infrastructure group to be part of a team working on projects of Roadways, Bridges, Transitways, Municipal and/or County arterial roads, side streets, multi-use pathways, parking facilities etc.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Be part of the electrical project team and attend project meetings
Perform lighting calculations 
Experience in Roadway lighting design and Traffic Signal design, including phasing and signal timing plans in the province of Ontario, is desired but not mandatory
Design Traffic Signal Systems to the Ontario Traffic Manual. 
Generate one-line diagrams, traffic signal wiring diagrams, roadway lighting wiring diagrams, and electrical details
Perform Voltage Drop Calculations, short circuit calculations, and arc flash analysis calculations. 
Write and edit project construction specifications.
