Agilus is recruiting for an Electrical Designer/Engineer in the Engineering industry in Toronto, Ontario.
A typical day:
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD, including :Power distribution systems, Lighting and lighting controls, Fire alarm and life safety systems, Grounding and bonding, Low-voltage systems (data, security, access control, AV) etc.
- Assist with load calculations, panel schedules, risers, and single-line diagrams
- Develop construction documents from schematic design through issued-for-construction (IFC)
- Incorporate design changes and respond to internal and external review comments
- Support quality control reviews to ensure accuracy and consistency of deliverables and assist with technical reviews and drawing checks prior to submission
