About the Role
Overview
Roska DBO Inc. is currently seeking a Full-Time Electrical Engineer (P.Eng.) to work out of our customer’s downtown Calgary office. The Electrical Engineer is responsible for detailed electrical design development and engineering support throughout all project phases, including procurement, fabrication, construction, installation, commissioning, start-up, and final handover. This is a 12–18 month minimum term role, (Monday–Friday, 8 hours/day).
Key Experience
- Minimum 10 years of electrical engineering experience
- Experience specifying and designing:
- Transformers
- Switchgear
- Motor Control Centers (MCCs)
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- Motors for large industrial systems
- Proficient in eTap for electrical design and coordination
- Experience preparing electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, and technical documentation
