About the Role

Senior Electrical Design Engineer – Permanent Position – Peterborough, UK
Job Purpose:
Responsible for designing and delivering electrical control systems for food process equipment to meet the requirements of customer contracts and internal development projects. This includes anything from configuring standard control systems to designing bespoke electrical solutions. You will also provide technical support across multiple business areas when needed, including sales, manufacturing, installation/commissioning, and customer service.
The Job (Main Duties):
Responsible for designing, configuring, and issuing electrical systems and control panels to meet contract requirements and schedules.

Produce accurate and detailed electrical schematics, panel layouts, cable schedules, and system documentation to minimize issues during assembly, installation, and commissioning stages.
