Electrical Component Engineer

Component Engineering Skills and Competence:

• 6 to 8 years Hands-on Experience on Component Engineering
• Bachelor Degree with in Electronics or Electrical/Electronics
• Strong Technical Knowledge on Electronic Components (Specifically entire Discrete and Passive Category) – Basic and working Principle, Packages, Suppliers, compliance and Regulatory, etc.
• Hands-on experience on all major Component Manufacturer on Discrete and Passives. Experience on Tier3 (China based) Suppliers is a plus
• Hands-on Automotive standard and regulatory knowledge on Electronic Components – Complete understanding of AECQ and IATF
• Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) – Worked experience on reading and reviewing Supplier PPAP Documents in accordance with AECQ requirements
• Review and Assign new Visteon Part Number – Taking into considerations on Technical Reviews, Risk Reviews, Compliance and Regulatory reviews, etc.
