Health Safety Environment Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with WorkSafeBC, OHS, and company safety standards
• Deliver EHS training (WHMIS, PPE use, etc.) and support the Joint Health & Safety Committee
• Conduct risk and PPE assessments; assist with incident investigations and corrective actions
• Coordinate return-to-work programs and maintain safety documentation
• Promote environmental stewardship and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing or industrial safety experience
• Knowledge of WorkSafeBC and OHS regulations
• CSA Intermediate First Aid (required); NCSO certification an asset
