Work Arrangement

Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Markham Elevation Centre (MEC)/ Oshawa Elevation Centre (OEC) three times per week at minimum, or other frequency dictated by the business.

The Role

General Motors of Canada Company is seeking a Software Developer – Brake Controls and Diagnostics to join the team and help shape the next generation of software-defined vehicle braking systems. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a new Brake by Wire project while advancing GM’s in-house brake controls and diagnostics software capability and supporting the transition toward next-generation software-defined vehicle (SDV) architecture, including brake controls feature migration into future Vehicle Motion Coordination and Control (VMCC)-aligned architectures.
