Drone Operator

Are you interested in a role that is combat focused and uses Army spy planes to be the eyes of the battlefield? As a Drone Operator, you’ll remotely pilot a UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) to gather information which will be used keep our troops up to date on the threat in their area, and provide them with accurate targeting details during the conduct of their missions.

You'll be trained on the theory of flight and how to identify weather conditions that affect your ability to fly. You'll be trained to work as part of a crew to operate the surveillance suite (cameras both day and night) and control the aircraft in flight. As part of the crew you will gather and distribute information to assist commanders in accurately directing their units through any danger areas.
