About the role

• Team Global Express is seeking an HC Driver to commence immediately in Townsville.
• This is a full-time permanent role
• Overtime will be offered subject to operational needs.
• Safely operate heavy combination vehicles to complete scheduled local deliveries and pickups.
• Carry out scheduled deliveries, ensuring freight is delivered accurately and within required timeframes.
• Ensure freight is safely secured and restrained using straps and chains, and assist with loading and unloading as required.
• Conduct multi-drop pickups and deliveries, ensuring correct handling and placement of freight at each location.
• Complete daily vehicle pre-start checks and report any faults or maintenance requirements.
• Maintain trucks in a clean and serviceable condition, and keep the yard and work area tidy.
• Follow all company procedures, including hazard, near-miss, and incident reporting processes.
