About the role:
As a DRG Validation Auditor , your primary role will be auditing inpatient cases to validate DRG and/or documentation improvement . This consists of reviewing accounts in proprietary software and client EMR systems.
Eligibility Criteria
- At least 2+ years of work experience in IP Medical Coding in DRGV Auditing
- Bachelor’s degree in any medical allied course
- Successful completion of inpatient certification program from AHIMA (CCS) or AAPC (CIC)
- Experience in any EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner & Meditech
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Should be flexible to adapt to shift timings on a need basis.
