Job Overview
Using SolidWorks, work closely with Electrical Design and Mechanical Engineering
A Day In The Life
Create 3-D models and 2-D drawings for multiple transformer product lines.
Create detailed 2‐D component and assembly drawings from customer and vendor drawings or models.
Per engineer's general direction, produce and/or revise drawings.
Maintain consistency in drawing layout and appearance per company standards.
Ensure proper filing of issued drawings in both physical (if applicable) and electronic files.
Provide feedback to appropriate engineers as to problems or questions related to work in progress.
Resolve drawing related manufacturing and/or purchasing issues with appropriate plant personnel.
Analyze dimension requirements and apply appropriate tolerance specifications as required.
Provide working copies of drawings to engineers and production personnel as necessary.
