Setting: Clinic
Role: A doctor volunteer works alongside the local doctor during consultation. With the help of a local staff, usually a nurse to translate, the doctor volunteer is given the responsibility to consult patients.
Time Commitment: 4-24 Weeks
When: Ongoing
Application Deadline: Ongoing
Requirements: CV with photo and related credentials, Passport, Police Check and Character References.
Cost: Costs range from $1,686 CAD to $5,086 CAD. Volunteers are also responsible for their own airfare, travel insurance, spending money, and visas & permits where required.
