DOCSIS Test Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: In this role, you will be responsible for: Develop and execute test plans to validate features and functionality for ultra-speed residential and enterprise connectivity services. Work with the Network Design team to review and contribute to high-level and low-level designs Validate CMTS configurations. Capture and analyze CMTS logs, CM diagnostics, and network traces (Wireshark/tcpdump). Prepare test plans, test topologies and perform functional and non-functional testing for new hardware and software within a lab environment Run stress, soak, and scalability tests. Record bugs and defects and work with stakeholders and vendors for resolution ensuring no impact to customers Create and own Method of Procedure documentation to upgrade network devices in production
