DMC Technician

The vacancy

We are looking for trades with a multi skilled background to work in our damp, mould & condensation team, as a DMC Technician. You will be our first response to reports of damp, mould or condensation and will visit customers to assess the issue, identify root cause of problems and carry out remedial works to remove hazards and prevent recurrence. Some of the works you will be required to undertake may include improving ventilation, removing mould and repainting, minor works to windows and doors role is important to our commitment to keeping our customers safe and is at the forefront of our approach to tackling problems of damp, mould and be successful in this role, you should be comfortable in assessing the root cause of DMC issues, recommending a full survey where the root cause cannot be established at the first visit and be comfortable talking to residents about DMC and providing information on the work being undertaken and giving advice to customers...
