Dispenser

Rowhedge Medical Practice is looking to welcome two qualified dispensers into our busy practice, who will play a full and active role as part of the practice multi-disciplinary team. This role is offered on a part-time basis, for 17 hours per week over 4 days.

You will be joining an enthusiastic team of clinicians and administrators and you will be well supported with on-going professional development (training support, CPD and peer support).

Main duties of the job

The role will contribute to the improving quality of care of our patients across the network of practices. The main responsibilities of the role:

• Process all relevant prescriptions and repeat prescriptions as authorised by GPs and prescribing nurses where appropriate, in accordance with the good practice principles of the Dispensing Services Quality Scheme;
