Support the daily scheduling and dispatching of vehicles into and out of loading docks and from the facility for delivery of materials and freight. Provide assistance to the Lineage Transportation Team.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare dispatch schedule for drivers and equipment daily to achieve customers on time service requirementsEstablish and maintain collaborative relationships with carriers to ensure effective usageUse dynamic routing system to efficiently route product outboundCreate and maintain inbound and outbound orders in the dispatch systemMonitor drivers’ hours to ensure appropriate workload to prevent violationsCoordinate and communicate changes to delivery and backhaul assignments to accommodate for unforeseen circumstances such as late truck arrival, breakdowns, or last-minute customer requestsAddress matters that arise and provide rec...
